To further support the dysregulated children |
We have individual plans for children who are dysregulated and are working closely with parents. |
Improved communication |
We send the majority of our communication through Teacher’s to Parents. Please ensure that your details are up to date so that you receive the messages and weekly newsletter. |
Outdoor provision to be developed |
We are currently working on developing our outdoor areas throughout school. We are very lucky to have volunteers supporting with this. |
More Maths and English clubs |
Mr Wildey currently runs a Maths booster group on s Tuesday for Year 6 pupils as preparation for SATs. We can look at additional clubs or alternating this with English. |
Better security around the school |
We are having a fence installed in the Summer and adding further natural security where possible. |
More after school clubs |
We will have a sports club and forest school will continue. We have a craft club each week also. We are always looking to further our after school offer so we will keep you informed. |
More done when children are hurt |
We have our behaviour policy and sanctions which we are looking into further and will tweak and adapt. We will inform parents of any additions to the behaviour policy. |
Extra staff for children with behavioural problems |
We are utilising our staff as much as possible. When a child has needed support we are using the staff we currently have to support this. Unfortunately we do not have the funds to have more staff but we are working with external agencies for support on managing behaviour. |
Same children doing the same things |
We do try to vary who attends competitions and extra-curricular activities across school. We aim to ensure that children get to have a range of experiences with us and don’t do the same activities. |
