Coffee Mornings at Hanging Heaton CE (VC) J&I School
At Hanging Heaton CE (VC) J&I School, our regular coffee mornings provide a welcoming space for parents to come together, enjoy a drink, and stay connected with school life. These sessions are a valuable opportunity to share important updates and happenings within school, while also strengthening relationships with our parent community. We also invite external agencies to attend so that families are aware of the wide range of support available locally. Agencies involved so far include:
- PCAN Group,
- Kirklees College,
- Carers Count Service,
- The Community Plus Team,
- Kirklees Keeping in Mind,
- Holistic Wellbeing group led by one of our parents.
Feedback from parents has been extremely positive, with many valuing the chance to access information and guidance in an informal and supportive setting. We look forward to welcoming more agencies in the future as we continue to develop this important community link.
